About 3: if you have bandwith and cycles to spare, I'll code the brute. Lets assume dual XPs 2800+ over an E/T1, 24/7 with 253 different IPs. Now, let's say they left 1,000,000 valid keys. So, taking in account that of the 35^36 combinations there is a valid key for about 3.8587e+49 ones, and that we could post around 3060 tryes per second (depending on the Bioware server limits), we should get the first harvest in 1,4595e+47 days! Wait... what? I don't wanna wait that much !-P

JAke/Someone: try downloading the key generator that this page is about(look for "*** Download! ***", you can't miss it... again ;-). If you're really lazzy, there are several serials posted already, that should work for everything but Internet play.



Now, if the keys don't do it for you, maybee your problem is the cd checks... so go to astalavista.box.sk, and serve your self.



For anything else (if you expected a innocent soul to drop they retail key), or anything same, get some goggle.com. I got my _retail_ key there. (Ops, did I told that?).



One of our nwn online experimented comrades: would you explain what you know about online duplicated key checks? I'll not care to share, as long as I don't get the busy tone always I dial bioware...

No v1.27 online patch is available as far as I know... v1.22 patches are out there.. I use them and they work :)

If you got a NWN working key that works for online game play, all I have is a real Diablo II Expansion CD-KEY to trade it for, which is an official one (got it when someone stole the CD from the store, found the case with the CD-KEY). 1) You can still use this, so download it.

2) In your hosts file (Which should be under your system folder, I've only done it on Linux) map nwmaster.bioware.com to 127.0.0.1

3) When you try to connect, it'll fail! Any server started on this failed connection won't be able to authenticate CD-Keys ^_^



It can even work for online games, though the server would have to be pre-failed.



Unfortunately, it still doesn't work with non-failed online games. They will be able to verify your CD-Key. So don't connect to 'em. Only failed ones.

I have two computers. And i can make an account on one of them, but on the other one, it says invalid cd key to create account. WHY?

the reason u cant play lan is because the games where installed with the same cd, and same cd key, and it dosent let u have 2 computers with the same key in the same game.

Yes, you can change your CD-key in that file (nwncdkey.ini). If u change it for a wrong CD-key the game will ask you to introduce a original CD-key, again.

Hi there, I am not sure of this but I use the same No-cd crack fixed exe for the 1.25 that I got When I bought the copy and the game works and in the main menu it sais "1.30". I am not sure thought if the changes are done or is just the menu. Please try it, It worked for me. (and it do not ask the key again :)

The problem isnt that i need a cd key that i can play the game with, the problem is that the cd key is not authorized fore LAN or online games. I'm trying to find a way to host a LAN server for NWN so my friend can play it and neither of us bought the game, we have ripped versions of it. they keygen on this site is fine for getting to play NWN single player, but we need a way to get online... we ned either a legit cd key or someone who has found a way to explain it.

This fix DOES work...just applied mit myself. This works as far as I know, ONLY with local LAN sessions.

The file that needs to be edited is the the "C:WINNTsystem32driversetc" (Windows 2000 or WinXP upgrade from Win2K), " C:Windowssystem32driversetc" (winXP). The folder must have "Read only" permissions, if it is turned off (which is the default), it must be enabled so you can edit your "Hosts" file. Everything after this was explained by Mouse.

I've installed Neverwinter Nights using the KeyGen and also Shadows of Undrentide, with the same KeyGen (another Key, though) and after I've done installing it, when I try to run it, it asks for the Cd Key. I put exactly the same one I used to install, and none worked at all. I reinstalled the game about 3~4 times, just to try different keys, and still, none worked. Can anyone tell me what should I do to get past that Cd Key Entry?

Hmmmm... okay... i can now host a lan game by going into my c: windows system32 drivers etc folder and opening "Hosts" with wordpad and changing the word "localhost" with "nwmaster.bioware.com" but when i host it and my lan friend tries to join it, it says his cd key is not authorized... hmmmm I don't know what I am doing wrong here. If he hosts, and I try to join, it says my cd key is not authorized.

I really need someone to try this and if it works for them, explain it a little more, I've come so far and I am so close to LANing with my friend, I can't give up now. Someone please explain EXACTLY every step in what to do, I don't have a linux server or anything, i have windows xp (which shouldnt make the directions and different). I can actually get online now and host my own server by doing exactly what I said I did in my last post, but as I mentioned, if I ever try to join my friends server (who did the exact same thing as me) it says his cd key is not authorized, if I host and he tried to join, it says his is not authorized. I have v1.31 of NWN and I tried reverting to v1.30 but that did not seem to be the problem because this kept occuring. I just dont know what to do, if someone could help me out that would be great.

Damm, i was happy with the v1.30, but now that it change to 1.31 i can't play anymore in the internet with my favorite and the only server i could join. I updated my game but now i receive this message "unautorized". Can someone post here new used cd-keys? plz. (i mean used keys, but new in the internet).

Hmmm... maaaybe what we need to do is revert back to the v1.30 or earlier... if that doesnt work, i suggest a complete uninstall and reinstall WITHOUT using NWUPDATE... instead go to the bioware website and manually download the updates until v 1.28 or 1.29 or so... maybe that will do it? if anyone tries this PLEASE post and tell me the results.

If u wanna play on LAN with Never winter nights

its simple...

JUST UNPLUG YOUR INTERNET AND HAVE YOUR NETWORK ON

it will fail the internet thingy... but you still can play network :p

its really simple first thing u gotta do is

start neverwinter nights or something....

then unplug your internet cable (either from the computer/firwall/hub/switch/gateway/router)

press multiplayer..so then you can login with what ever cuase it wont connect to the internet and check for your login acc :)

then just press Local Area Network (so called LAN or NETWORK) and creat a game or join a game

its really simple anyone can do it.. if they dont got IQ of lower than 60... ;-)



so simple... so easy... so much fun

but i recomend BUY THE DAMN GAME!

i did that... and i was stupid but ITS WORTH IT becuase you support the game manufactor and let them make better versions of the baldur's gate clones :-) or even make a 3rd one or if theirs one i dunno :-)

1. UNplug your internet from your computer or log ut if u got dial up or adsl (most of them has logut system)

2. start NWN (never winter nights)

3. press MULTIPLAYER

4. press LAN

5. CREAT/JOIN game :)

6. Enjoy the taste of REAL MULTIPLAYER

7. i recomend you go to the store and buy NEVERWINTERNIGHTS AND THE EXPANDSION (but i havnt tried the expandsion yet)

8. IF U DID 7: Order some pizza and PLAY ON INTERNET/LAN AS MUCH AS YOU CAN (parents this means: less study, less sleep, less spending on homework but the benefits with that is: they get smarter and learn english or what ever patch you got.. less wineing about money for new games..) BUT ALWAYS REMEBER TO REST YOUR EYE'S AND GET SOME SLEEP AND ALL FOR YOU KIDS ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU STUDY AND GO TO SCHOOL

9. if you skiped 7. then GO AND FUCK YOUR SELF! (sry but i hate when ppl go past 7. so sry about my language hope that no kids saw that :-) )



10. go and report all the bugs to the manufactor and they will fix it :)
