The file bloodpat.exe is a self extracting archive.
It should be copied to your Blood directory.
After running bloodpat.exe you should run 'patch.exe -ignoremissing'.
This will patch Blood version 0.99 to version 0.99b.

*NOTE*
If you have removed files to run the game it is possible
that the game will not run correctly.
Saved games from version .99 will not work on version .99b

Crash related to gargoyle statues fixed
nSector crash (db.cpp at line 200) fixed
Joystick/gamepad support optimized
Eliminated sync errors in co-op net play.
Support added for -8250 command line parameter
Default socket number in SETUP.EXE is set to the correct value
Removed text banner indicating that Blood .99 was a beta and not for
distribution
