0 A.D. is a historically-based realtime strategy game centered around Rome betwen the years 500 B.C. to 500 A.D. The project is created by game development hobbyists in a virtual team environment. The 0 A.D. staff is comprised of over 40 active members from countries all across the world; their ages and backgrounds are just as varied. The staff is very dedicated and strive to be as professional as possible. This first edition of the game will showcase six unique civilizations. Gameplay features the familiar RTS components of building your base, training your army, combat, and researching of technologies; but with some unique twists.
