when I install the Patch 1.11 I get this mesage "Eroor , Manipulated version found " I only have the game on pirated Cds so I do not have the original EXE files ( I guess) , please help me to install this Patch , any1 know how ?

Hi! First, you must download all files, mentioned in the topic, concerned with right patch installation. These files provides a clear installation, as for me, I think, it's the only way for today to install patches for the game spellforce. So, files: the patch 1.11, utility, called e_wise from URL http://arctest.narod.ru/utils/utils-inst.htm (this utility can UNPACK patch; it is absolutely nessessery for it's applying), Spell Force v1.11[ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed EXE from site www.gamecopyworld.com. So, you've got all of 3 files, ok?
Second, you need to unpack patch with e_wise utility:
copy patch in e_wise folder;
create batch file (I call it UNPACK.BAT) with string "E:DataCDVOL8GameUpspell111E_WISE_W.EXE spellforce_patch_v110_to_v111.exe E:DataCDVOL8GameUpspell111Works", you must wright your own string with your drive letters, paths, patch filename. If something isn't clear for you - mail me on grimoire@mail.ru.
Launch this batch file;
after unpacking finished - find file 00000000.bat in folder with unpacked patch and launch him; this file renames all unpacked patch files and gives them "normal" names:))))
Copy all files and folders from MAINDIR folder of unpacked patch in your game folder; overwright all files, ofcourse:)))
Unpack crack-file into your game folder, overwright all files;
delete file spellforce.dat in your game folder;
Launch the game and enJoY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

К великому сожалению, тут Ты прав! Даже если обойти blacklist патча на serial num, то все равно у него возникает ступор по поводу "куда установлена игра" и "давайте ее переустановим, иначе патч никак не установится".
А жаль... Так не хотелось его варварски раскурочивать :))
Я думаю, сейчас многие патчи так приходится ставить. Кстати, есть-таки преимущества у такого способа установки патча: ничего лишнего он - инсталлятор патча - не сделает, все операции - у тебя под полным контролем, и меньше сорится реестр:) и всякие другие папки, куда патч мог что-то сбросить:)
Согласен с SpellBinder полностью :-)), намного приятнее знать что устанавливаешь, и всегда можно взять только нужное обходя всякий хлам стороной.
Кстати игру так и не стал доходить до конца, дотянул до 20 уровня с русским переводом, снес все к черту , пропатчил по полной до 1.11 и играю по новой. Надо было давно сделать так :-)), оригинальный текст намного лучше, да и новые прибамбасы очч приятные.
2 Aferist - решпект, полностью солидарен:) Только вот не для всех типов патчей эта утилитка подходит, я про e_wise. Я вот было хотел таким макаром установить патч на Lords of the Realm-3 - ан нет, там патч иначе запакован...
Да, я тоже так и сделал - патчи в спеллфорсе толковые, новых глюков не добавили, а старые убрали:) Обратно - ждем адд-она!:))))))))))))))
